Maple - Goldendoodle
Huntsville
The Problem
Maple was leash-reactive to other dogs in the neighborhood and often pulled on the leash, which caused stress for the owner.
The Solution
I created a custom program to help Maple relax and reduce anxiety. This started with mental stimulation exercises in the house. Next, I taught her to focus on the owner when a stimulus appeared, reducing her reactivity. Finally, I generalized her training by including many socialization field trips at various locations
The Result
Dale is truly a “dog whisperer”. His approach is comprehensive and effective and I could not be happier. My dog has improved in all areas- loose leash walking, improved reactivity and overall improved behavior. Dale is extremely flexible and professional. The entire experience and results are better than I had hoped for. 100% recommended for anyone who wants guaranteed outcomes for their dog.
Ace and Ghost - Pitbulls
Harvest
The Problem
Dogs ignoring commands when distracted and playing too rough in the house.
The Solution
I first worked with each dog individually, creating a solid foundation of basic obedience. Then, I worked on leash training as a pack and socialized them extensively in public locations such as Cabela's, Bridge Street, and Home Depot.
The Result
Words cannot describe how wonderful, knowledgeable, and amazing Dale was during our training program for our two boys (ages: 10 months and 3 years). We were struggling trying to train and understand how to get through to our dogs and once Dale stepped in… it was a 360! They were learning quickly, socializing better, and we became better dog parents because of it. Not only were our dogs learning but we were too. Our dogs loved Dale and they enjoyed every session whether it was in our home or on one of the many field trips.
Buddy - Rescue Dog
Madison
The Problem
A rescue dog with a lot of baggage, a lack of obedience, and a high level of anxiety.
The Solution
I started with basic obedience to help control his destructive behavior in the house. Next, I worked on a plan for plenty of mental stimulation, enrichment, and socialization.
The Result
Dale was great. If it had not been for Dale and the training he provided, I would not have kept Buddy. He was a new rescue that was not leash/house trained and knew no commands. He can now walk on a leash and has learned the sit, down and stay commands. He is also much calmer and trusts me to lead him. Through the training I learned how to properly communicate with Buddy and we have the tools to succeed.
